We are looking for experienced

Software Developers

to work on the future of broadband network solutions in our office in Kaarina (Turku area) or in Tampere.

Teleste is the market leader in Europe for cable access products. Our engineering knowhow is based on our experience on manufacturing professional signal transmission equipment for well over 50 years. Our own product development, manufacturing, support and service are all located in Europe - for the benefit of our customers.

As SW Designer/Senior SW Designer in our SW Development team, you have high motivation combined with determination and flexibility. You are a passionate problem solver that succeeds in your mission. As a person, you are a sociable team player, but you are also capable to work independently.

We expect you to have at least five years of professional experience in industrial software design and implementation with the willingness to take overall responsibility of the feature being implemented.

SW Designers and Senior SW Designers are also expected to have:

• Excellent skills of software development and architectures
• Excellent C and C++ knowledge
• Good knowledge of Linux systems and development
• Good knowledge of IP networks and technology
• Experience of agile development practices
• Knowledge of Unix shell scripting and Python will be seen as a benefit
• Any knowledge of DOCSIS and cable modems will be appreciated and seen as a positive feature
• Fluent English language skills
