On-site Support Technician to Lantmännen IT
Are you a service-oriented problem solver with an interest in IT? We are currently looking for an On-site Support Technician for IT Operations in Finland.
In the role as On-site Support Technician you are Lantmännen's face towards our internal users in the Southern Finland region. You are mainly responsible for 2nd line onsite problem solving. A large part of the role involves analyzing the problems that occur and coordinating the assignments to our subcontractors and internal local IT teams. The role also includes close collaboration with our Service Desk as well as global virtual onsite support team. You are reporting to Operation & Process Manager in Sweden but your managing supervisor is IT manager at Finland.
Examples of tasks:
- Installation of computers, monitors and accessories
- Installation of local applications
- Spare computer pool management
- Local Area Network and Wifi troubleshooting
- Hardware and software troubleshooting locally
- Hardware warranty maintenance coordination (mainly Windows computers)
- Support for selected end user services (e.g. Maas360)
- Coordination of assignments requiring onsite visits and performed by IT subcontractors
We are looking for you who have good knowledge and experience on working with Windows workstations with associated standard applications. You have a large interest in IT and knowledge of other operating systems is seen as a benefit. As a person, you are independent and social with good problem-solving and coordination skills. To enjoy your role you like working in a rapidly changing environment. Furthermore, you are communicative and trustworthy to our clients/customers. You speak and write Finnish and English fluently.
You have previous experience of minimum 2 years on working in on-site support role. You share our values – Openness, Holistic view, Drive – and our promise to take responsibility from field to fork. Location is at Salmisaari HQ office, Helsinki, but travelling is required and therefore it is beneficial to have a driver license.
