Liability Underwriter

We are looking to expand our liability team with a liability underwriter with a keen interest in growing our portfolio focusing on Cyber and General Liability products for our Helsinki office.

Who are we

RiskPoint is an Insurance Managing General Underwriting Agency. RiskPoint provides unique and specialised insurance solutions to the markets in which we operate. We have operations 9 different countries in Europe and just opened an office in USA employing altogether more than 110 people to better facilitate our product & service offering.  

You will become part of a multinational team of 26 experts within their fields of liability insurance. We are closely co-operating and helping each other across countries by sharing the latest updates and transfer knowledge – this is organized throughout regular team’s calls and get-together training events.

About the role

In the position as a liability underwriter you will be responsible for and gain insights to Cyber and Casualty risks in Finland as well as globally among different size of Finnish enterprises.

You will become the Cyber and Casualty product line representative of Finland and have the opportunity to drive changes in a fast growing and changing business environment and insurance marketplace.

There are a great deal of contacts so superior skills in communication, sales and building relationships are highly valued.

What we are looking for

We are searching for a candidate with keen interest in growing our portfolio of Liability insurances. The right person is a strong team player, but can work independently with a pro-active attitude.

To be successful in RiskPoint you are energetic, ambitious and have an entrepreneurial personality that will contribute to the continued growth and success of RiskPoint. You are also capable of handling complex tasks as well as sales oriented working methods with good negotiation skills, and managing work relations remotely.

Experience with information technology, financial analysis, risk assessment, contractual terms, marketing, sales and business administration is preferred but not required.

The suitable educational background for this position would be university degree with finance administration, IT engineering or law studies but we are open to other backgrounds.

Speaking fluently Finnish and English is a must, and Swedish language skills are considered as an advantage.
