The role in the organization
The role as Commercial Director reports directly to the Managing Director for Mediq Suomi and is a part of the Finnish Management team. Together with the Management team you will set the strategic direction and identify new growth opportunities in Finland. You will lead by example your team of 5 skilled employees in Private Healthcare commercial team. The business shall be spearheaded in close co-operation together with all other functions in Finland.
The job and responsibilities
The Commercial Director is responsible for driving the annual strategy process and delivering a complete strategy with clear value propositions and delivery plans for your own market segment. Together with relevant stakeholders in the business you will develop new business development initiatives. Key priority is spearheading the change in the business model to a healthcare solution and service provider. That also includes the identification and establishment of new partnerships and other non-organic growth opportunities.
The commercial Director is responsible for developing and executing marketing and e-commerce strategies and plans for own segment in order to attract and convert potential customers and retain existing ones. You will define and confirm your business has the on-demand deliverables for our customers. In this way you will ensure that Mediq has a seamless customer journey and provides outstanding customer experience.
You will manage and lead the Private Healthcare Commercial team and Business Development, ensuring development of necessary skills, competencies, and motivation.
- An experienced leader and good people manager with minimum 5 years of management experience.
- Strong business understanding and market drivers/health care sector.
- Experience in both B2C and B2B sales organizations.
- Understanding of the Finnish procurement process.
- A suitable academic background preferable at Master level.
