Client Manager with scientific background
We are looking for Client Manager with proven track of academic/industrial experience in diseases of central nervous system (CNS), client management, and portfolio sales to join Charles River Discovery Research Service site located in Kuopio, Finland. This is full time and permanent position and we offer a dynamic and engaging work environment in drug discovery. The compensation is monthly salary with score card incentive based on performance.
In this position you are responsible for regular client communications, client management, and sales of Charles River‘s products and services with particular focus on Discovery CNS in vivo and in vitro portfolio. The position requires expertise in in vivo/in vitro pharmacology in CNS area that enables client discussions and sales on various CNS diseases animal models. Client manager will be responsible for initiation, execution and complete delivery of products/services for Charles River clients and also for creating proposals and associated documentation and delivering them to clients. The responsibilities of this position include also establishment of new client relationships, maintenance and development of existing client relations and nurturing of business leads. Client manager participates in marketing team activities, follows up with ongoing client projects, sales projections/forecasting and monitoring of client satisfaction.
- Education: MSc or PhD level degree in Biological Science relevant to scope of work
- Work experience: At least 2 years of experience in sales (preferably laboratory services) and working in in vivo laboratory environment. Experience in client project management and sales communication is considered to be an advantage. Experience in project cost accounting is an advantage.
- Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, excellent negotiation skills. Strong computer skills, especially in Microsoft Office programs. Use of sales management tools like SalesForce are desirable. Very good communication skills in English, both written and spoken, other languages are an advantage. Official Corporate language is English.
- Other: Must be able to travel and work outside office hours. Understanding of the service business (CRO) environment, ability to work in a process-like environment, capability to follow-up on details, and persistence in troubleshooting issues requiring resolution, ability to multi-task.
