HR BUSINESS PARTNER

Schneider Electric is looking for a service-business oriented HR Business Partner to support its dedicated businesses in Finland. This role is an opportunity for HR professional to grow further within a company which is a global leader in the field and offers interesting career opportunities also internationally.

As an HR Business Partner, you will be collaborating closely with Field Services and EcoBuildings business leaders as well as the managers and employees in their organizations. Depending on your competences and interests you may also take ownership of some specific focus areas or projects in HR.

Your key responsibilities:
  • Resourcing: workforce planning supporting business leaders in analyzing mid- and long-term needs in alignment with business plans
  • Learning & Development: find and deliver learning solutions to meet business needs
  • Health, Safety & Wellbeing: ensure compliance in co-operation with Health & Safety Manager
  • Talent Management: attract, analyze, develop and accelerate talent development and retention
  • Cooperation with Universities and Technical Schools: develop long-term cooperation to attract young talents and improve employer brand recognition
  • Rewards: ensure consistent application of group and country rewards policies and practices
  • Engagement: identify potential issues and create solutions with business leaders and teams to sustain and further improve employee engagement

Our ideal candidate would have the following background and experience:

  • Experience from similar roles, including an HR role as part of business management team
  • Proven ability in developing organizations and teams, leading changes and driving engagement
  • Experience in workforce planning and resourcing, ideally in service business
  • Experience in working with managers and employee representatives on matters concerning labor law, personnel issues, procedures, regulations and complaints
  • Successful track record in building strong talent pipeline through recruitment and development
  • Knowledge of total rewards and benefits
  • Experience in health and safety is a plus

Communication and Interpersonal skills
  • Ability to understand business and people requirements, clearly articulate the related needs and propose required solutions
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to ensure trust and collaboration within the organization
  • Strong communication, influencing and intercultural skills
  • Tenacity, resilience, flexibility and emotional intelligence
  • Strong initiative, drive and passion in achieving results, highly organized
  • Ability to navigate complex matrix organizations in a global company

Languages and education

  • Education: ideally degree in Business, Psychology or Educational sciences
  • Fluent in English and Finnish, other language skills are a plus

HR Business Partner role will be based in our office in Espoo or our other major locations in Southern Finland (e.g. Tampere, Turku). The position requires readiness to travel.
